There’s something so special about backyard weddings — the intimacy, the personal touches, and the warmth that comes from celebrating right at home. Laura and Colten’s wedding in Wood River, Illinois, was the perfect example of that magic. On September 21, 2024, under the late summer sun, they said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, and the most beautiful bright, bold, and joyful details.

From the stunning florals (still some of my all-time favorites!) to the intentional décor that made every corner feel meaningful, this day was a true reflection of who Laura and Colten are — full of heart, color, and pure happiness. It was a backyard wedding dream come true, and I’m so excited to share a look into their unforgettable day.
